HI ZERODHA PLEASE CLARIFY THIS DOUBT FOR ME

1)suppose if i have one lakh in my trading account can i buy 2850 shares (equity) of Rs 100 for delivery?

2)what is the exposure for intra day trading (equities) ?

3)what is the margin requirement for futures? say nifty futures is trading at 6000 i.e it is worth 50*6000= Rs 300000 : how much amount do i need to buy one lot of nifty intraday and one lot overnight?

4)how much money do i need i my account to but one lot ( 4000 ) suzlon energy shares trading at a price of 55 intraday and overnight?

For intraday cash trading: Margin given on top 200 stocks is 10 times
Margin for all other stocks 5 times

For delivery based trading: 100% of margin, if you have 1lk in your account you can buy delivery for only Rs 1lk. If you want margin for delivery , you would need to open a margin trading account with ILFS.

For futures trading: Intraday: 50% of SPAN margin
Delivery : SPAN+ Exposure margin

Nifty futures: margin for intraday: Around 11000 , Overnight: Around 30000
Suzlon futures: Margin for intraday: Around 16000, Overnight: Around 42000

but not opened yet....
is there back office trouble still there

Hi,

Professional couriers seems the best people to partner with and apparently they had tried reaching you a few times on the weekday...

Have emailed you the soft copy of the forms, the POD number and contact number of professional couriers in Gurgaon.

Sorry about any delay in not sending an email on time...Will get Bharath to call up courier company and call you back...

Thanks - suddenly out of the blue the professional courier guys contacted me 30 minutes back and I have now picked up the courier from their office...

Maybe some feedback you can give to professional courier guys ... they should call on the mobile number of the recipient immediately if they are unable to deliver the courier rather than just sitting on it waiting for the customer to contact them....

In any case, issue resolved and thanks for chasing them up.....I will fill up the forms and dispatch immediately.

Just one question ... can we trade intraday using NSE NOW mobile..??

I have downloaded the app on my mobile but not sure if it allows instant trade like the desktop version?

We are upgrading our backoffice servers and hence your account is not opened yet, We would be working tomorrow to clear the backlog of the last 2 days and opening all the pending accounts....

Yes, you can day trade on your mobile...
The only thing which is offline about our business is account opening process... Unfortunately we have to rely on the courier companies for this where we kind of loose control on how they perform...
We are today encouraging clients to print their own forms, which will probably be the fastest way to do this...

1)if there is a slight contradiction in the name be a problem i.e in the PAN CARD it is SHERLEY ABRAHAM and in VOTERS ID it is SHERLY ABRAHAM ( an E is missing in one so does it matter) will this become an hindrance in opening account?

2) and what should i do to open a margin trading account with ILFS?
