morning guys

is the back office site working for u? also the is nowonline.in? its strange but i can not access the both site from last night ..... any1 had same experience?

cheers
nowonline.in working, Backoffice not working from last night, zerodhaonline already told last night as it is not working, looks like some backoffice updation work is not yet finshed,
Anyway, dosen't matter unless one need to check something in backoffice,
for trading there should not be any problems, since available exposure figure is apearing on now terminal.

Strangely enough, nowonline.in never works from my office network... I understand some ports might be blocked, but does any one know any sure shot reason and solution for this?

Dear Zerodha, All is well and great with you, except transaction charges.

NSE Transaction charges for Option is 0.05 % on premium but you charge 0.08 %, for One Lot of NIFTY (50), cast for Rs 100, charges are 8 Rs per lot instead of Rs 5 per Lot. So its Rs 3 per lot Extra, But if Option price less than Rs 50 ,than charges become negligible.

But for Future trading , charges are very High, If we trade 50 Nifty @ 6100, we have to pay Rs 32.94 (@0.0054%) instead of Rs 11.59 (@0.0019 %) , Its mean Rs 21.35 per lot extra, Its mean Rs 10.675 extra for Buying and Rs 10.675 For selling +20 Rs per trade brokerage, so its become very high compare to other broker who charge Rs 9 per lot.

I hope Zerodha will consider to reduce Transaction Charges....
We have already had this discussion before, transaction charges is not only nse transaction charge, there is something also called as clearing charges that is included in them... These costs vary from broker to broker and keeps reducing as the volume keeps going higher...With us the transaction charges suddenly seem higher because the brokerage is so much lower...An RKG charges 0.0072% as transaction charges on options, 0.0065 by indiabulls, 0.008 by Religare, the only ones who don't charge any additional charges for clearing are icici and hdfc and you know for what reasons....As I said, if you compare us to the broker who charges 9 rs per lot is hardly anything...But as I said this cost is variable and as the volume keeps picking up this cost will reduce for us and passed on to the client...

how come everyone is getting different bills when 600 is paid by all.i got 208,u got 203,someone has mentioned 186.Strange that there is difference just in opening a demat.
I have already posted this before, Rs 600 is account opening fees, Rs 400 is Annual maintenance for demat account and no AMC for trading account... Account opening fees is not your amc... ILFS has a practice of raising bills at the end of the qtr(dec 31)... The difference is because the amc is calculated on a pro-rata basis while billing...

But as I clearly mentioned to you before, the amc charges are debited from your trading account only at the end of 6 months(rs 200)...So you just have to look at the bills and do nothing about it... We will debit 200rs at the end of 6 months from the time you open an account and pass it on to ILFS..

Cheers....

www.nowonline.in is working fine from morning, the backoffice we are running maintenance work and should be up by 12pm...

Arsh, if you are working in an office which is blocking certain trading sites, or if there are certain ports that have to be kept open for the NOW platform to work, there is nothing much we can do about it...Trading from your mobile or if you have a datacard and a laptop are the best alternatives... Otherwise you could get the admin to open the ports, if the organization doesn't have any problem with people viewing trading sites during working hours...

Cheers..
