"Our application wizard quickly collects your personal details and automatically completes your form so that you can download, print, sign and mail it back to us to open your trading and demat accounts. "

Dont think this thing works, i inputed all data and still the forms i downloaded was blank not filled up as mentioned, so i am opting for a courier of forms instead, its hard to type all data in A4 printouts (different story if the forms were completed soft copies needing only signatures)
The soft copy in pre-printed forms should work ideally, we have a lot of our clients using the same facility...It downloads in a pdf format...Will have it checked though.. Cheers..

New Zarodha Account Holder,

Members I would like 2 Inform You all about the plus and minus in Zarodha as well as NSE NOW trading software. Being a Recent Client of Zarodha if anybody intrested i will post my observations.
Am more interested in the minus side of NOW if any. Zerodha looks good enough for me.

Show me one post by any authorised executive of any big brokerage, solving queries, and I will donate my lear jet to that executive. ( Its missing a few important parts that he will have to put in though, like the engine, the seats, and the electricals,,, rest everything is fine )

Rule set by exchange is 300 lots per order for retail in both futures and options... With us you can place orders for 300 lots at a time in both f&o... Cheers..

Usually all suggestions are taken into consideration it seems.Mostly we learn to work around the terminal's quirks if any.Besides,i doubt you will not find any better value at any other broker. Who knows maybe your doubts (read minus points) may be ill founded,i know it may take a week or so to get the hang of using the the terminal.
So go ahead and list it out.
ps.I doubt you will find many or any.

Nifty:
Span margin 7.10%
Exposure margin 3%

So at nifty 6100
Span Margin :21655
Exposure margin:9150
Total:30805

So intraday you hold 5,00,000/21655=23.089~ 23 lots
and positionally 5,00,000/30805=16.23 ~16 lots

Whoa in options it might be really high then!

Ps. Use money mgmt and position sizing. Going overboard with options are the maximum no of lots is risky.
Experts recommend staggered entry and exit. Also leave some lots for intelligent averaging and nimble balancing trades.
Being adequately capitalized is necessary for futures. Time decay accelerates for options after the 15th of expiry month.

Hi Sachin
Could you tell me what is the transaction charge you charge in future and what is recommended by nse please?
In my today's contract note you charge 0.0054% which counts Rs 11 more per contract as compare to normal charges.

I received a statement from IL&FS asking for a payment of Rs 197.30

I did transfer some shares from my HDFC Sec account to ILFS but Rs 197.30 can't be the fees for off-market transfer of shares.

Has anyone here also received such statement asking for payment to ILFS?

Anyway, are we supposed to make payment of DP fees in future directly to ILFS using net banking or will Zerodha debit fees from our account and pay that to ILFS?
