Brokerage cost of Option Trading is less compare to 9 Rs per lot if some one trade 5 to 10 lots in one order.

Brokerage cost of trading in FUTURE Contract is very high (40 per Order + 21.35 per Lot)compare to 9+9 Rs per Lot ( Transaction Charge 0.0054 VS 0.0019 , almost 3 times)

Dear ZerodhaPlease think about it. I hope Zerodha will consider soon
Thanks..
Hi,

Even for futures trading it is 0.0035% to 0.006% depending on where you trade... But as I had told before, as and when our cost reduces, we will pass it back to you...

hello arsh_makker, you from UP? how i know this? from your zerodha user id.the first 2 letters of zerodha usrid represent your state..see my userid starts with TN.

Dear Zerodha, All is well and great with you, except transaction charges.

NSE Transaction charges for Option is 0.05 % on premium but you charge 0.08 %, for One Lot of NIFTY (50), cast for Rs 100, charges are 8 Rs per lot instead of Rs 5 per Lot. So its Rs 3 per lot Extra, But if Option price less than Rs 50 ,than charges become negligible.

But for Future trading , charges are very High, If we trade 50 Nifty @ 6100, we have to pay Rs 32.94 (@0.0054%) instead of Rs 11.59 (@0.0019 %) , Its mean Rs 21.35 per lot extra, Its mean Rs 10.675 extra for Buying and Rs 10.675 For selling +20 Rs per trade brokerage, so its become very high compare to other broker who charge Rs 9 per lot.

I hope Zerodha will consider to reduce Transaction Charges....
Rkglobal charges 0.0030% means Rs.300 per 1cr. So for zerodha it comes as Rs. 7.20 more per lot...........so if you compare then you have to trade 10lot of nifty future for same brokerage as rkglobal charge.

Hi zerodha,

I have filled all the details in the online account opening form in your website but still downloaded an empty form, not the pre filled form with all the details.. Do we have to manually fill all the details again..

Regards,

Ram

So far I have done only 4 orders with zerodha and I must say that I'm impressed with the NOW terminal. I had nothing but problems with Diet ODIN of RK global.

On some trades I will have to pay more brokerage and transaction charges to Zerodha and for some trades RK global was costlier. You must count the monthly recurring fees of Diet ODIN in your calculations.

It depends on the trading pattern of the traders but overall, costs will even out for a lot of traders like myself.
