Work is in progress.

We will provide backfill from google, work in progress.
There will be utility to do easy back fill manually as well.

The ticker symbol output for feeding into ami can be streamlined simply by using a user configurable tick box choice to remove the '-EQ' suffix for all equities, so as to make the tickers as per the NSE symbol list. In addition, a text box to type in ticker alias as per user choice in a tabular form for other markets is the preferred customary option.

We have removed exchange and -EQ etc from symbols in AMI now.

We are working on ODIN and Sharekhan as well. Hopefully will release in 4 weeks. Office 2007 support should be out in weeks time or before that.
That's seriously glad news! Compliment & Kudos for the selfless philanthropy and implementation of feedback! :clapping:

Since the plugin, in any case, is anticipated to undergo considerable tinkering under the hood in the near future, couldn't resist another suggestion/ wishlist addition. :)

At present the major bugbear of traders pulling data from the trading terminals is the fact that spot data for the indices is not available.

If feasible, it would be nice to have the simultaneous continuous google backfill for the (chosen?!) indices while the current watchlist ticker data is being pulled, post the ticker backfill from google.

Am waiting to test drive the 2007 compatible version!

Regards,

Dear all,
Amibroker RT Plugin is now ready for office/ excel 2007. We tested it on our setup. It worked. Checkout and let us know.
http://shubhalabha.in/amirt/Shubha_%20RT_plugin_for_Amibroker.zip

Regarding getting indices data live, it's possible with NEST (We checked with Zerodha). It works.
Steps are as below.
1. Select CDS market.
2. Select Index from dropdown.
3. Select NIFTY from symbol list.
4. Add LUT as column from column list to get time.
This will give you live index data and save from pulling data from Google.
You will get streaming Index in terminal.
We are changing Amibroker plugin to support this feature. We expect it to be out in 5 days.
Regarding IIFL, we do not have IIFL account or any one in friends who have it. If one can provide IIFL terminal for 2 days, we can workout something.

ODIN and Sharekhan solutions are going to easy excel prepared sheets, with no headache of config this and that. It will be for Amibroker first.
