I have doubt on 13th trade ..Please guide me ..
I asked this querry in thread but I think you not noticed it...
Now you updated your file it also saying your trade not begated on that day
Q is..on 13 th12.00 bar closed below EMA...our short order below it...not next bar Inside bar(12.30)..1.00 bar not triggered our short and break high of 12.30 bar.....upto here ok...now 1.30 bar break high of 12.30 bar...Is not our trade negated?

NB:I tryed to send PM to you but its rejected.........

We needed to go above 5277 to negate the candle.

So we not lookthat bar high....only if last swing high break trade negate......

In your swing strategy trade tracker excel sheet if you could add two more columns i,e

1.current sar
2.trade exit date

it will be very helpful for newbie like me.

In the month of July, as per Trade Tracker sheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AsUbGCcSPMgjdEZHV3B3M1lBUU1jYVdaeEhzcmw2TXc#gid=0 our gain is negative -104. I did not understand why it is negative this month.

I feel we are in profit here too if we have used here 'pyramiding / adding'. Am I correct?

i have read both the books of alexander elder, "Trading for a Living" and "Come into my trading room".. I had some doubts regarding it and regarding set up of couple of things i wanna try.. I know i might be asking in a wrong thread for help but any help will be appreciated.. thanks

As this was downtrend, after making new low, if 15 ema touched & and bearish candle closed below 15 ema then high between new low & 15 ema touched will be TSL for short entry.

So in this case you can see bearish candle closed below 15 ema, so high of previous bull candle becames TSL which was around 5296.
