As per 315 rules, we don't add shorts as soon as NF touches 15ema. We wait for 3EMA to turn down again then add shorts.

Dear SH,

At 5369, there is 15 EMA touch for adding shorts as per 315 rules, however at the same level there is GFZ for exiting shorts & waiting for long entry on 15 EMA touch as per 30 min swing rule. 315 followers will add short & 30 min swing followers will go long (on 15 ema touch).

Will it be prudent to follow higher time frame direction (i.e. 315 rules) only at this juncture or go as per trades being suggested by both the strategies individually?

I am in favour of the 2nd part of the question, but appreciate your opinion on this?

15ema touch hasnt occured yet ...
bt today NF price has pulled the 15ema to 5335...and NF is now kinda midway between gfz and 15ema ...so should we hold shorts or cover now inorder to cut losses in case theres a gapup tmrw .....guidance would be appreciated !

It has bounced up after dipping slightly below 15EMA on 15 min TF. Anyway, "No Trade" is a position.

Normally I use iCharts. I can't see updated 30min TF data in iCharts. Should I need to take any subscription for that or it's available free?

For swing trading live intraday data is required or here also we need to consider EOD data....

Yes, you need to take subscription.

For swing trading live intraday is important.

Nifty has gapped up above our SAR however has also opened in GFZ.

Will exit shorts and enter longs after 15 EMA touch (re-entry point as per this strategy).

added shorts this morning at 5400 ... averaged them with shorts from 5350 on Friday .... (was carrying shorts from Friday as 15 EMA was not tested).

Now booked all shorts at 5350 (15 EMA touch).


Now waiting for an entry candle in longs (bullish candle close above 30 mins with SL below recent lows)

Lets see if we get a long entry today.
