with great difficulty i have done it. the data from sharekhan to ami is getting updated with correct time. i went to your video tutorial as well in the web site for date and time and configeration. thank u. let me know whether this tick data we can see as 5 minites data ?can be merged and instead of tick data , i can get 5 minites data? as my old data baseis 5 minites.

Yes......! You may find it difficult to do what I perceive as simple. However, You will not forget it and you are now better equipped to deal with problems if any that arise. Over a period you will understand that it is easy if instructions are read properly.

Right-Click on the chart and set Intraday-Period to 5 minutes. That will give you very good 5 min. candles. I have set my charts in 1, 5, 15 min 1 hr. time frame. Let the data accumulate in you database as ticks. That does not consume much of Hard disk space. Any way hard disks increase 5 times in size every 2 years.

Tulasi,

The file RTG3.format should be copied to the folder ......AMIBroker/Formats. Have you done that? Perhaps AMIBroker is not getting the file there.

do not try to open the other excel file by double clicking it rather open that excel file thru Start - MS Office Excel xxxx- Open- the excel file. then this stoppage of the rtgx.xlm will not occur and u will get uninterrupted ata flow in ur charting sw.

ur LTT (last Trade time) and Open Interest Col have been interchanged. pls rectify it.

this error of stoppage is due to the non availability of the time factor in interday data capture. all the quotes are considered by ami as 1 single quote and so the updation is not occurring.

pls do it and revert. ur usdinr quote will be coming. test with it and send the report.
