hello josh ji ,,, i m getting RT data from NOW and its working fine but now a days m getting a extra tick after 3.30. as m in currency trade also i hve kept my ami time as 9 to 17 in trading hrs..
the problem is dat extra tick ???bcoz of dat extra tick current rate wil b stuck till it get cross...nd signals wil b !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
need ur hlp

and one more thing as sharekhan is going to introduce new TT with all in one features can i get any video for TT for RT setup ...as v hve for NOW by one of our fnd in tj...

In preferences intraday settings you have to give start of period. There is solution give by SR114. couple of pages back.

Hello,First i am giving you very very thanks to do this prosess for data from now or nest trader.
today i see the video & i am clear about it.
i have a one suggestion,thats very important for dervative trader,please change symbol name from month name to -i(as nifty30aug2012=nifty-i),for doing this next month data can automatic merge in old month.thats very important for future trader.
and thanks again for this explaintion & great work.

I have been able to fetch realtime datafeed from NOW, ODIN, Google, Yahoo, to Excel 2007 and pull it into AmiBroker and Fcharts. TradeTiger is not tested yet but it has Snap to Excel facility through its MarketWatch so it will be possible to fetch feed from TT also.

Whatever is extension of the file i.e RTG3.zip , RTG3.z or RTG3.doc, change it to RTG3.zip and unzip the file. You may have to login into 4Shared.com to download. There is a torrent link appearing below Download File now if you do not want to login. Somehow torrent for this file is not working on my laptop but download is working.

The source code is open. I shall explain the operations/source code and pros and cons of each source/method in series of articles here.

Readers are requested to refrain from writing any comments/reply here until I finish explanation which may take about two weeks. This will enable everybody to get uninterrupted information.

Goto Database Settings -- Intraday Settings. Click checkbox against Show day session only.
See whether that works and let us know.

You can use old version of the program. NSE-NOW-RT2.xlsm. Links are given in old thread.

You did quote the first post of this thread. Link to old thread is given in the first line of that post. Reading That will enable you to understand the configuration. Link to NSE-NOW-RT2.xlsm is given in the last line. Download the file.

You can also use RT31.xlsm or RTG31.xlsm with tweaking. Columns in RTG31 are as below.
Trading Symbol Last Trade Time Last Traded Price Volume Traded Today Open Interest Symbol

Change them to - Symbol Last Trade Time Last Traded Price Volume Traded Today Open Interest Option Type Strike Price

Thereafter, open RTG3.format file in notepad and change the following line-
$FORMAT Date_DMY, Ticker, Time, Close, Volume, OpenInt, Skip

to -
$FORMAT Date_DMY, Ticker, Time, Close, Volume, OpenInt, AppendTicker , Appendticker

This is necessary because all the calls of Nifty will have NIFTY as Symbol.
