Intraday Trading with Gann

Today also made aloss of 65 points when i buy at the levels given it goes down badly and hit stoploss and when i short it went high. i dont know if iam wrong in entrying the 09;30 price LTP as per odin it was 4958 LTP. it gave signal for sell and when i sold it went and hit the buy first target, when squared off and reveresed the position it came down to sell first target.

It gives me the same figures when i took the VWAP 4874.60 of 09:15 candle, but when i took 4858 as 09:30 candle LTP it states
BUy above 4865 and sell below 4847.

So which one to take , some say LTP and some say VWAP which works correctly

u didnt even know which one to take, still u traded the actual market and lost 80 pts???

suggest u to start paper trading this strat and then only after proper backtesting, pls start real trading

Yes , i lost i agree, i did trade as per 09;30 candle, but it wne other way round and hit sl when it took the other one it went down and latter went up . by the time i was out of trade.

yes i took the perfect 9.30 LTP its gave me this value and take some time before just jumping in it give it a thought and than give it a go. and as new markets said before going in real do some paper trade tht will make u more clear and confident

Dear Friend,

Probably you can teach how to trade on Gann with discipline as i would replenish my zerodha account. by another one month.

As i have to shuttle between my village and home at bangalore. if you have yahoo chat probably i can also look at learning from you . when i take the LTP of 09:30 and see if my figures what i get is same as yours and help me in recovering my losses with small profits of 500 a day or 400 a day until i get confidence of understanding Gann. But how would it work on range bound days?

i lost 125 points today, as i have only i lot of mini nifty @4917 holding , i sell it at 4812 ,it go down at 4867, when it came 4800 i sell it for short, it go 4855 i buy one lot it again came at 4806 . Then i am out of money . Total loss of 2750 today ? Kya karu?
