In equity segment we take demat accounts as mandatory while in commodity segment it is optional. The demat in commodity is required only when a client wants to invest in national spot exchange products namely e-gold,e-silver etc. which is a very good practice to keep your derivative risk under control at all point of time.

The mega value plan is so designed so as to collect only quarterly, halfyearly and annual subcriptions only. if a client has opted for yearly plan and he is not able to trade for a month or so, no refund would be applicable. on the other side the plan is so cheap that even if the client is unable to trade for some time still he ends up saving lot of money in brokerage and service tax in a year in comparison to his existing broker.

In case if you have subscribed for three months and you trade till december then you enjoy zero brokerage till december. now if you feel that you will not be able to trade for next two or three months then you may not recharge your mega account. till then the brokerage rates would be 5p/50paise and Rs 100/- per lot in options as default. you may recharge your account after two or three months provided we are still enrolling new clients for Mega Value Plan at that point of time. Else you may convert your account intoa normal brokerage account where your brokerage rates would be subject to your trading volume. Hope this clarifies your query. Thanks for the post.

So, you are saying that the brokerage isn't automatically deducted at the beginning of the month/quarter, right ?

Hello Achiievers, welcome to TJ.

could you please explain in details the - Mega Value Plan - "EQUITIES"?
does it include only EQ segment or FNO as well? and which exchanges?

if EQUITIES include FNO, can one conclude that demat a/c has to be opened irrespective if the trader wish to trade only in FNO segment?

besides, if you could come up with a brokerage calculator(on website or in excel) like few other discount brokers do it would be great. this calculator will include the transcation charges and other taxes, stamp duty etc to bring in more transperancy.

thanks.

According to this information what I can make out is that if we take a break in our quarterly plan then on renewing our subscription for another quarter we will be at par new members for Mega Value Plan. These are quite stringent set of rules.

Mega Value Plan Equities mean both cash and fno. Any client may trade only in fno but opening a demat account with us is preferred by us.

Exchanges in equities are NSE and BSE. For Currency it is MCX-SX. For Commodities it is MCX.

Happy to inform you all that we have also applied for MCX-SX for Cash and Derivatives segment and NCDEX also. Just waiting for completion of the formalities.

How much exposure do we get for intraday trading in equities?
