NOW 1.12.1.0 is a existing version of NOW.

i have 3 questions for u ...hope u 'll clarify my doubts.....


1) Is this possible to sell option with SL-M order type to take fresh position ??

2) how u guys calculate margin for 1 lot option selling in intraday

is this " span + exposer - premium receive "
or " (span+ exposer) / 2
or any other method................???????????

3) suppose i have sell 1 lot nifty 6000 put option for 100 rs.
now i place a SL-M buy order at 105 rs and a buy limit order at 90 rs.

in above situation how much margin u block from y trading account .....

Maybe there was a pop-up and it failed to show up or be removed.

I am with another broker but faced this problem in the earlier versions.

Yes you can certainly do the same.

Currently it is Span-premium receive if any.

3) suppose i have sell 1 lot nifty 6000 put option for 100 rs.
now i place a SL-M buy order at 105 rs and a buy limit order at 90 rs.

in above situation how much margin u block from y trading account .....

Considering Span requirement is 22000 approx than following will be the margin requirement.

Premium Received - 100x50=5000

SPAN requirement is- 22000-5000(premium received)=17000

SL Buy Order-105x50=It will be consider as squared off order by the system as per sequence mention above. So there will be no margin requirement if the order placed is earlier than the other fresh buy order.

Fresh Buy Limit Order- 90x50=4500


Total Margin Requirement for above case would be 17000 till the position is not squared off by your SL buy order.Separately system will take 4500 for fresh buy order.
