How is the experience of people who has trading with Zerodha. I think since this broker is new one, he will first give good serives. As he is replying to all quarries here only and in nice way. Only when the customers becomes large, thier service will be testies.
I think he sounding very nice and goody goody so I am afraid of such behavier, also he does not have any office at other places, so the Indian mentality will not trust such model. But yes he is cheap so one can put very small money and trade through them. For other large trading and deliery portfolio, we can continue with reputational brokers only.

thanks for ur good valuable words of wisdom.... atlast somebody like Zerodha has come forward with a new concept of brokerage.... and going thru some of the posts above u will notice most of the traders are actually happily making money thru them...and ...yes ..most of the traders are actually fed-up with your so called ' reputational brokers '..who are nothing but well fed as****les. I was unfortunate to have some worst trading experience with Sharekhan, Religare and Ventura..

I think your question is not justifieble, because you are depending on your "freind" who speak to "someone" at ILFS main office in Mumbai. I think you can directly make inquiry with IFLS and that also to a person who is authority to give reply and is at a level where he understand what is the question. As you very well know that most of the junior leval employes or call centre officer are not aware of products and there companys offers. So they easily say NO, if you ask them something which is not a common question to them.
So you make inquiry yourself the make sure what your friend was telling is right or wrong.

One of my friends called up IL & FS head office today in Andheri, Mumbai. Following was their reply:

we had created a few id's of the employees working with us and giving demo on the NOW. But the problem was, people would try to relogin after a while and hence block the terminal by giving wrong passwords.. We will be putting a video of the NOW terminal on our site soon that should also act as a demo... Cheers...
