A general Thumb Rule is as follows:

Let us say you want to enter today based on yesterday's trigger. Today you wait for the price to reach or go above yesterday's high and then buy at a price of your choice after that. The exact price at which you enter depends on when and how you place the order. In case the price does not exceed yesterday's high you may enter at any price or decide not to enter at all and wait for tomorrow. If you decide to enter tomorrow, then again follow the same procedure. Wait for the price to exceed today's high then enter as long as the stop loss is not hit.

This is only a guide line. You can devise your own methodology for entering.

Hi lovable_guy,

This thread is for posting triggers. There is no harm in posting your triggers here. Just give your reason for selecting it (some kind of TA which you would have done) and also give the follow up. Here I am posting triggers based on the AFL which I have posted earlier and give daily update on those triggers. Similarly Savant gives his triggers based on a couple of systems which he has explained a number of times. Uma is keeping track of his triggers and posting the daily updates. When you give your criteria for triggers and the follow up the whole excercise is transparent and all the members following this thread also can participate and come out with their ideas so that your system can be further improved. The triggers you post should not appear as some tips. Savant also has always maintained that as long as your selections are based on some theory you can always share them here. What is objectionable is just posting baseless recommendations and posting queries and opinions which are not related to this thread. So, if you can make attempts to post your triggers with the background study which has gone into its selection, all will appreciate.
