Re: Powergrid FPO

It is not necessary to hunt for forms ....
if you have online trading account, it would be lot easier to apply for IPO/FPO s

Re: Power Grid IPO

How come people are buying Power Grid directly from the market when it is available at a cheaper price in the FPO?

Re: Power Grid IPO

@swati
People are buying to make money as Power grid is in news.
Power grid is not a stock for short term trading.
for safer and good returns one should apply for FPO as it is available on discount and a decent company at cheap price is a definite buy

But why buy at 100+ when you might get it for 15% less in FPO?

Re: Power Grid IPO

@swati
because traders play with stocks ,allotment will happen around 20th ,this is different than coal india as it is a FPO.
traders will play till 20th and who knows what the market will be on 20th.
market showing weak signals and can tumble any time
a lot will happen in F&O of power grid and can ruin the party of retail investors
Trend is the friend so wait till 11th and decide on 12th whether to participate in FPO or not?
dont expect too much from power grid it will disappoint short term traders
alarming signs

- lots of IPO coming ,greed is increasing
- PE of NIFTY is above 25
- P/BV is around 4

its time to sit and relax and wait for market to ask for more and more and finally crack down

its time to sell not to buy
