I generally don't give fund to anybody..........because some time it's mis-use....I already told...I donate direct food and cloths.....to the needy........every Saturday and Sunday I am doing it.........I love to see my donation enjoying Kid and old age, and needy people.....I never donate blindly........But Sushma case is exception........I never encourage to my friends........donate direct money.....to any NGO...mandir ,masjid,church,....to any fraud BABA..........Yes 100% donate...but.........direct to the people......and enjoy your donation......spent whole day in orphan home.....serve food...and cloth......and feel the difference...and meaning of our short life.........

Raj bro, Agree 100%..... Sometimes, people who ask are really 'professional beggars' It is their occupation - and unfortunately make up stories and cheat people. Have come across this kind of situation a few times, so am wary. But this case is different. The poor girl's father had to sell off the land for his daughter's education. And no politician or any business came to help (they will do so only if they get publicity)

In Mumbai we have Ganpati festival - and the courts have placed limit on no of politicians putting hoardings. The result? Donations from politicians for Ganpati festival are down - because the politicians will not be able to get publicity which they did earlier by putting up banners in front of the pandals, where tens of thousands of devotees used to come.
