Earlier i was watching the timer ticking.. day by day.. and when it went off.. a few days back.. i would visit.. at least 10 times a day.. to know about the updates.. in launch of ShubhaLabha downloader... and now i am slightly disappointed.. to see it getting delayed.. .. Hmmm.. and my anticipation continues..
Shubhalabha- Same here. We had first product meeting on Sep5, 2012, we were expecting launch by Diwali. Initially we made very fast progress, then one of our senior architect have to take some other assignment, so got delayed. Since we are team of IT pros with 15 yrs+ exp, we donot want to set example of bad product out there. We spend lot of time about how to make it super light weight. Today application is almost done for eod data, it has size of only 184Kb, which is as small as a web page.
Why wait for MCX launch ....as it is brokers getting their MCX registrations from SEBI and giving trading facilities to their clients is not going to take 1-2 weeks, knowing how SEBI operates, it will take months..... Shubhlabh ( hopefully it is Sulabh too ) data downloader can start and MCX can be added at a later date. Waiting for a simple to configure and operate downloader.....
Shubhalabha- Lot of code is already in place for MCX-SX. We have tried to make it as simple as possible.
Please have a look at sneak preview, please let me know if you have any suggestions. It will undergo lot of face lift for look and feel. RT data we will make it as fast as 2 sec, snapshot shows 30 sec, do not go by it. There are lot of market reports will be in place along with event calender. Event calender will give pop up well before events. It also supports BSE delivery quantity as open interest, bse sme, nse sme, nse equity delivery quantity as open interest, nse & bse FNO, India vix, and many more things.
The idea to launch this is to increase productivity of retail trader, enable him with best avilable data in his preferred charting/trading application. He should able to spend more time on analysing charts and making decisons. Mods: This is a free utility developed by few members of traderji & IT pros. It will be free for life for end users. There is no commerical advertisement being done here.
