Combining Trend-VWAP-Ranges - Pratap's method

Pratap Sir,I'm re-testing/backtesting all the systems shared by you..Pls clear this small doubt-

How SRSAR 15 and AMA 15 are different..both looking the same(very small difference)-

earlier I used to trade a combo of SASAR 3 n 15..now this got replaced by 15AMA and Noise Band.

Please advice on which AFL and parameters you are using.

AFL is 15 AMA with some color change..

same way like Sir..
the only difference is he's getting 8 out of 10 and I'm on 4.5 out of 10..

just asking bcos Monday onwards wil use it..

IF we take all trades as per 15AMA,it gives 100-250 pnts(considering range and strng mkt).Drawdown is very less but it's been taken care if followed proper MM.

any1 struggling can backtest it and test live with 1 lot for next 20days..you'll never regret it..

also..anything in AMA band is also a Range..
IF considering only VWAP..price in vwap band is also considered as the range...abv VAH is a long bias n below VAL is a short bias..

I consider AMA/VWAP/Noise Band..I'm basically a Scalper..and only trail abv these bands..else everything is a range and quick in-out mode for me..

Pls read VWAP basics again.Range and Trend mode is already very well defined by the sir,so the title is-Combining Trend-VWAP-Ranges

Pls backtest it..and trade with 1 lot only.

Friends,There r many combinations one can trade..Sir has already shared all the AFL's...just backtest and check out which one is suitable to ur mindset..
We have VWAP /2days/5days/AMA/SRSAR/ADN/15 Slow-Fast/TDST and many more..

any of this can give a good results IF traded strictly keeping MM in the mind.

Srsar uses just ema...ama is adaptive ma

Put them on the same pane with diff colors you will see the difference. ama moves fast in vertical moves...but ema catches up to it during pullback or slow phases

I think Noise band and AMA is more than sufficient for intraday trading..

when price within band no trade------this is very important for me to learn when not to trade....

how do we treat noise bands ?
