Boss, this is an intraday strategy. I think that higher time frames won't give you many trades. You may want to look up VJAY's thread for 15 min setup. With this strategy, 3 min to 5 min are the optimum. You may look up higher TFs for general directions.
Hi Columbus,
Does the strategy have a positive expectancy on higher time frames say 15 min or 1 hour with continuous data. ?
Thanks , sripathi
Hi sripathi,
As rightly pointed out by TIMEPASS ,it is INTRADAY strategy.
The success of this method is dependent on NUMBER OF SAMPLES.
On 3min TimeFrame the first sample of BW ,appears at 1015AM.
(9.15+20*3=10.15).Since BB20 is used. In case of 5 min the first sample
of BW appears at 9.15+20*5=10.55.In case of 15 min the first sample
appears at 9.15+20*15=2.15PM.By that time, most of the action would
have taken place. But 1min and 2 min ,Time frames will give too many
samples ,there is a chance of booking profits early.
So OPTIMUM timeframe is chosen ,which falls between 3min~5min.
