Hi timepass,

Thanks for your interest,Planning to discontinue Bank Nifty options thread.
When I observed the P&L report, whenever I traded in Bank nifty ,mostly I was
in losses. The reason is volatility in Bank nifty is too high ,since it is
driven by just 12 bank stocks ,whereas ,Nifty options are less volatile.

On Expiry day ,it is wise to trade in Futures/Equity since Options tend to
loses premium due to rapid time decay.

You are right about trading on the expiry day.

At present I am not trading options, but look at the range provided just for guidance. Hence I appreciate the effort put in the thread.

But about BNF options thread - maybe it needs a different approach than nifty. Maybe a different approach for the analysis, maybe a different approach for trading, or both.

Whether the member(s) here trade the options as per your analysis or not, it is the guidance about the range that many look for. So, please continue, if necessary modify the approach.

on expiry day banknifty options can give much higher returns than nifty options , especially if market moves in one direction.
