Backtesting and trading camarilla pivots

Kindly explain in detail how to Calculate Camarilla Points for the next day, How to Enter & Exit the Trades and what all you have to keep in mind while Entering the Trade, while we are in Trade and when we Exit the Trade.

1> You can use the workbook at the begining of this thread + bhav copy from NSE to derive it. I used to filter stocks from the bhav copy
for example for cash i will look at stocks with volumes > 2lakhs and high low diff > 25 for previous day.

2> I have already explained my enter and exit formula and to use most important trailing sl.

dear kdhrubo bajaj made a high 2117 and low 2085
here 2117 is what H4 or H5. to my little obsevation in the first hr on a positive day most scrips got hit in between h5to h4 and retrace back to max h1. here every level like L5 to H5 acts as level. this is my observation.pls coment.for ur testing further i am recomending one site camarilla.ws. there is a online calculater which give 10 levels

The HI/LO for Bajaj are - 2117.85/2080.70. See the attached image.
For the moment just focus on L3 and H3. Ignore H4,H5,L4,L5. Just be nimble and move your trailing SL
H - support
L - resistence

There is always a difference between theory and how you adapt in practice. Not all levels will be reached most of the times so you need to think what your profit and risk apettite is.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Note in most cases you will see short trades on a green day and vice versa

Dear kdhrubo,

For ICICI I suppose these are the pivot levels today and below is the chart for the day. I am zero in Camarilla though have gone through the thread and understood the raw concept.

Would appreciate if you could explain how you would have traded this scrip today i.e: Each Entry, targets and coverings and S/L.

H4 995
H3 987
H2 984
H1 982

L1 976
L2 974
L3 971
L4 963

Regards
Raghav

ICICI is sit and watch trade for today. If today is a down candle again, then sell on EOD basis. Hope i am not disturbing the flow.
