Get a life. Stop making excuses for the way your life is now. Do not dwell on the past, or on what has happened to you. Life happens to everyone. Stop telling everyone the same old story - 80% do not care and 20% are glad it is you. Get a life! You have more going for you than you realize...so use it!

Create some positive things for yourself today. Believe that you can dream again, create once more, achieve another goal, laugh out loud and connect with life on a deeper level than you have ever done before. Life is waiting for you to explore it. Live full...die empty!

Power of Focus book excerpt

http://www.consultingsuccess.com/8-lessons-from-the-power-of-focus-book-review
  • Each week take one day completely off. No business phone, no emails. No work. Just make it your day to think and plan. But don’t actually do any business work.
  • Spend time with your family. At least one day each week should be a full family day. If you can’t do that, be sure to spend as much time as you possibly can each day in the mornings or evenings with the people you love and care about.
  • Before going to sleep, create an outline of what you want to accomplish the following day. Not in your head, write it down. Do that from Monday to Friday.
  • Find one thing that makes your day better. Each of us has things that we enjoy doing. Make sure you do something you enjoy each day. Whatever it is. Treat yourself.
  • Take a nap. The authors suggest taking 25 minutes to sleep mid day during the week. This will re-charge you and get you more focused. Especially if you’re waking up between 5:30-6:30am each morning.
  • Ask more. Don’t be scared of rejection. You need to ask people in all situations for what you want. It’s what kids do. It’s what works. Ask and you’ll often get.
  • Be consistent and persistent. Don’t give up on something after only a couple of tries. It can often take years of toiling away to make you an ‘overnight success’.
  • Keep your promises. Most people don’t follow through and do what they say. If you do, make sure you promote that fact. In emails or calls to clients, let them know that you got ____ done “as promised.” That will reinforce your commitment.

Focus on where you are going, not where you are. Speak life to your circumstances, situations and challenges. Hold the vision of a brilliant future and what you are creating. Challenging circumstances will try to shape and mold you. Stand firm - you will come through this even stronger and more powerful than before.

Dedicate your energy to doing positive things that feed your spirit, your soul and your mind. Remember that you hold the key to shape your life and your future. There is power in you to blaze a new trail and to pursue your greatness. You have something special. You have GREATNESS within you!!

This is a mantra of NAAM foundation has been started by Nana Patekar and Makarand Anaspure.

This has emerged after devastating conditions of drought & listening to agony of drought affected farmers in Maharashtra.

Nana Patekar, renowned theatre and film personality, has donned the hat of a real life hero. The spate of suicides among drought-striken farmers in Maharashtra horrified the actor. The poverty and deplorable conditions of the farmer community has spurred Nana and fellow actor Makarand Anaspure to establish a foundation dedicated to provide for farmers and their families

Many regions of Maharashtra are grappling with drought due to lack of rain which has adversely affected the farmers. Farmers have committed suicide and unfortunately there seems to be no end. Nana and Makrand have extended financial help to 113 families in Latur and Osmanabad.

Ignoring Drought-Hit Farmers Could Lead to a 'Bloody Revolution': Nana Patekar

While Mr Patekar initially began by diving into his own earnings, now contribution from well-wishers across the world is aiding their movement.

But the scale of the agrarian crisis, Mr Patekar believes, could have dangerous ramifications.

"There could be a farmers' revolution. If farmers can kill themselves, they could kill others too and if this thought of a 'revolution' persists, farmers could become Naxals," he claims.

Their efforts have ensured over 300 widows have already been given financial aid and hopes to support a total of 700 widows.

"People have to help farmers. I'm not appealing. I'm asking them - help farmers," Mr Patekar says.

In times of adversity, fight back! Look your problems and challenges in the eye and say "I will not be moved." Cry tears of defiance if you must. Don't pray that the obstacles will be removed. Pray for strength to remove them yourself. Dig down deep inside and stand firm in the face of all that is coming against you with a mindset that "victory is mine".

Fight harder to turn your situation around. Turn up the heat. Develop a defiant attitude. Refuse to give in and surrender. Ask for help ~ not because you are weak, but because you want to remain strong. You have something special...You have GREATNESS within you!

Choose to be happy now! Everyday life presents you with a full-service menu from which to choose ~ peace or anger; sadness or joy; forgiveness or revenge; trust or suspicion; and love versus hate. Your response to the behaviors of other people, as well to life's challenges, will determine your perception of your own happiness. Remember~ when things go wrong, don't go with them!

Happiness is a choice that you make every moment of every day. Hold it in your mind; pursue it with your passion; show it on your face; create it within yourself; and then bring it out for the world to experience in the unique spirit of you! You have something special! You have GREATNESS within you!!
