Hi Sachin,

As you are providing the NOW platform for trading and I read the posts mentioning that NOW platform provides minimum charting. I even found few posts mentioning as "similar to odin"

Can you tell me what minimal indicators NOW platform supports?

And I also read that NOW platform will upgrade the charting facility. When can we expect that to happen? Any timeframe?

For trading derivatives, the plan is 20Rs/order(doesn't make sense to go for 0.01 plan as 20rs would be cheaper than 0.01 even if you trade 1 lot at a time)..

Margin required for nifty is 11000 for intraday, 30000 for overnight...

Margin for Shorting options vary depending on the strike price....
In the money options, intraday around 10k, overnight, 22 to 28k
out of the money options, intraday around 6to 9k, overnight 16 to 22k ..

Leave your email on [email protected], will mail you the brokerage calculator that we have...
Hello zerodha

Regarding futures can i convert already holding futures into intraday if yes wat r the charges for doing so? N how can do so on now exe

I spoke to an RM of a big brokerage and he has not heard of your company :)

To teach these guys a lesson, you should hit the media with a vengeance.

I found one post of yours very interesting, can you elaborate on that a little bit?

You mentioned that as soon as RM's get a margin cheque, thy are give a target of generating 50 % of that as brokerage.

Can you write a bit more on how RM's do bad practices and mislead investors just to reach their targets?

Actually I have to disagree about hitting the media with a vengeance and here's my reason why - Let us go back in time when an 800lb tech giant called Microsoft ruled all of silicon valley and were so cocky thinking that no one in their right mind would even dare challenge them while they were quite unaware that in the garage of a rented home two young PhD students from Stanford were building something known as Google...the rest is history.

My point is you guys have literally changed the way the brokerage game is being played and it will only be a matter of time before you become super big and the best way to do it is through viral advertising or through word of mouth. Be like Google- they never spent a dollar on ads when they were silently growing at the speed of light every single day...but word quickly spread around and today it has become an extension of people's lives.

You have always been different from the first day and i hope you stay that way..It's radical, its fresh and it's innovative..sort of like a "v" for vendetta against the big brokerage houses!

Hi zerodha pl clarify the fwg. If i want to write 1 lot of nifty put options at strike price of 5900 n one lot of nifty call at strike price of 6300 n simultaneously buy one lot of nifty call n put at strike price 6100 can i place the complete order in one go n pay only rs 20 or i will have to place seperate orders. Secondly how much margin will i need to do this. Thanks
These are different strike prices so can't be placed as one order.. You can place all of them simultaneously using a bulk order, but it will all be considered as different orders... Margin required will depend on the strike prices...

Hi zerodha. Can we check before placing order that how much margin will a position need for carrying overnight. Secondly in case of a hedged position in index options needing more margin than available in ac how will you square off some qty at end of day. Will you square off one lot from all strike prices or any one strike price
We are making a spreadsheet for you to calculate exact margins on options required... Presently we square off positions which are making losses first, usually what we have seen is positions which make losses continue to making losses... .
