Suppose I have bought 2 lots on Nifty.Say ,due to suppose Nifty has gone down by 100 points. The MTM loss is 2*50*100=10,000.Will zerodha ask me to
immediately CLEAR 10000/- or wait till expiry of futures.

I suppose the question pertains to buying of Nifty Futures ( because in options all the premium is collected right in the beginning and no further amount to be paid by the buyer . ) M to M loss is to be paid everyday ( infact your margin amount stands reduced by that M to M loss amount immediadely next day before market opens for trading )

Create multiple user accounts in Windows XP and install NSE NOW on multiple locations and start the software with different user credentials. This way one can open multiple instances of NSE NOW. Has anyone tried this?

I tried with the above steps on the Anand Rathi's NEST Trader from Omensys the same software as NSE NOW and am able to run multiple instances of the software. I think running multiple instances is now easy.

I can't make out your name with the traderji ID, send us an email on [email protected] with your name and number, I will call you up personally and get you accustomed to the trading platform...

NOW platform has a lot of features that can confuse you to begin with, but once you start using it, the same features will be a booster for you...

We will let you hold your future positions maximum till you reach your SPAN margin positions after which you would have to fund a position to hold it.. Basically, nifty SPAN is 21000 and total margin is 30000... So we will let you hold your futures till you make a loss of 190 points(9000 Rs) on your futures position after which we would square off if further margins are not brought in....

PS. I am not qualified as a dealer what with ncfm and some such certificates. I am a simple uneducated trader. Well not that uneducated, but dont have any fancy degrees.

Hi, We as a company policy are not getting into any model where orders can be placed by someone else...A lot of wrong has been happening in the subbroker space... But as global trader is saying, if you are alright leave your number on [email protected], let us try installing NOW in multiple spaces, I will give you bunch of our employee's user id and password, so let us figure out if this works or not... how is margin requirements for spreads?if i sold 1 lot ce and for hedging baought 1 lot ce...for sold ce are you take full margin of 1 lot margin?

Presently margin benefits are available only on calendar spreads, the spread orders have to be placed using a spread order entry on NOW platform. When you put a calendar spread, margin is charged only on one side(the higher side)...

At present rate of Nifty @6000 and Banknifty @12000 , how much
1 lot of Nifty ,1 lot of Minifty and 1 lot of Banknifty including all taxes
cost.If it is a repeated question you can give direction to answer link.
