why would anyone want to trade BSE with its history of scams, scandals and non delivery??

NSE has a guarantee fund and the exchange personally guarantees you will get your dues even if the counter-party defaults.

I am Zerodha customer, want to know about options in Now.
Now does not show delta, theta values live but have these options in market watch settings. Is this defect or how to see it?

Hi Zerodha, In this post u said 50% of Span Margin required for Futures Intraday; I want to know is the same margin applicable for Writing Options (i.e. 50% of Span Margin for Intraday). For 1 lot Nifty Fututes Intraday approx. Rs 11,000/- is required. So for writing Options (Intraday Only upto 3:10 p.m.) the margin required will be Rs 11,000/- approx.? Pls confirm.

I believe that you should change your Courier which is Professional Courier. Zerodha had sent a courier to me in Bombay which took them 8 days to deliver to my home.

Also, now I find when I sent a courier to Bangalore on 03/12/10, I was told that it will be deliver on Monday 06/12/10. Nobody at Professional Courier answers the phone and also yesterday also they took details but did not revert back. Now today again I called up and they say that this particular bag was offloaded, so many excuses with Professional Courieirs.

A good broker should have a good courier to start with so that movement of documents are smooth and on time.

Hi Mr Kanitkar, Usually delta, theta shown on terminals is never live. Even the open interest change on all the dealer terminals are shown with a delay. Will find out more and post about the same on the forum... Cheers..

Yes, 50 % of span margin for writing intraday options.. 11000 is approximately what is required for writing intraday in the money options... Out of the money options on an intraday basis can be written with as low as 8000 in your account... Cheers...

We have already changed it to franch express..
