I think vps is for auto trading. so my question is is auto trading allowed on nse and mcx for retail traders?
Not allowed before approval of strategy, but U can do it easily. Traders are doing it. No issue.

Another Cheaper Vendor found:-

http://webappzlive.com/ssd-vps.html
Their KVM 4 will b good, its costing Rs.999.00 per month & window7 based VPS.
I have requested them for a Trial. Lets see.

Dear Algo Trader,
Extensive Exercise on Google for past few days has been immensely helpful
& found that

http://webappzlive.com/ssd-vps.html
Their KVM 2 is Good, its costing only Rs.499.00 per month & window7 based VPS.
Configurations :- 2Gb RAM/ 30Gb HDD

a) AMIBROKER Installed;
b) RT Data Installed;
c) NEST Trader Running;
d) Auto Trading Plugin (trial Mode of a Vendor installed);

Traders would get economical VPS proposition for ALGO @ 499 per month.

Does 499 pm include the costs for Windows 7?

why vps they are expensive not suitable for trading.
for trading required high performance system.
in my research having eight core amd or I7 intel system is better, with solid state hard disk.in trading having multi core more advantage than single core.if you can afford go for multi processor running windows on vmware is better.here in trading number of cores is important, all cores running parallel makes better when you working in complex algo.

for net you have wireless network with different sources like broadband, 3g,4g dongles network.

for data go for data fetching from terminal is better option than the data supplier.terminal requires less data and less load on system.data fetching from servers more processor load and bandwidth.if any delay in data fetch from server will result with hangup of your system.

vps not suitable for running complex algos.
all these my years of experience with trading.

Agreed on your major observations.
But, VPS can easily work for ALGO, people are working/ using it.

What are all the Advantages of VPS/ Desktop
1.No worry of Internet disconnectionProblems??
2.No worry of PowerCut Problems??
3.No Worry of Daily Login (Trading Terminal ,DataFeeder, Algo Trader)

Agreed, except NEST / Trading Terminal needs to be logged in Once at beginning of the trading day.
