Hi Rohangawale,
Thanks for your info. To-day I was going thro full thread. I am more familiar with Excel sheet. Is there any excel sheet posted for screening NR7 /NR4 /IB stocks? Kindly let me know?
Or How to get from Explorer. I am totally new to this? Guide with step by step procesdure to get NR7 from Explorer.
I don't have any software & not in a position to buy now.
Thanks & regards,
Keerthi
Keerthi, In Post #9 of this thread, I have attached a sample Excel sheet to flag NR7 trigger. This is for 1 stock. The input required is EOD price of high-low-close..
In order to get this trigger, we need 7 days / bars of data. I you are looking at downloading csv bhavopy eveyday.. and keeping them as 7 different sheets in a excel file, then u can very well write excel formula on one of the cover sheet to scan thru other sheets in the file and show NR7 trigger on this cover sheet.
Not sure, if this is what u are looking for. Maybe you can give it a try and create first draft of such sheet. If required, I can help u with the excel formulas (you don't need macros for it). Though I have never used excel to scan all stocks on our exchange.
Each stock, specially the one beyond top 100 or so, will not show you consistent return using this approach. Rohan is using his scan on Nifty-50 stocks cause they are what big players are focusing on hence their price action are not erratic like other small stock where liquidity is low.
In my view, we got to be focused in our trading. So even if you can track the stocks that Rohan is posting here everyday, it can make difference in your trading.
If you recall the hunting habit of Cheetah / Lion, they don't run behind the herd for their prey but they select their prey carefully and then just focus on them for the result.
So pickup your trading prey carefully and then have your gameplan to attack them in next session.
Happy Trading
