Ya definately some action is expected like today.
last time we got 2NR7 on 25th and 26th Aug, but the breakout was not that strong as NR7 effect.
prior to that 2NR7 was on 24th and 27th july and the effect we saw one day late and a rally of nearly 460points in 4 days.

lets c tomo which scenario mkt will repeat.
Hi all my veiw on current range contraction , now we are in another range lets see where it takses us ...........

We had two consecutive NR7 days today but still no action........Is this a sign of prolong choppiness between 4750-4850 that we might witness in coming days.......

WOD, Welcome back (not sure if you are really back)
There has been action today. Market gap opened, giving us indication of breakout on upside.. which was sold during the day and closed on other end, well within NR7 range. It is first sign that upside break was not convincing

If you can compare this to 5min chart, it is like one bar poping out of consolidation range and next bar comes back to the range. It could be a false breakout. Lets wait for further price action to develop before we get more clarity. Today range of 80 pts, is still below normal.. so IMO, we are still not out of consolidation. False breakout are typcial of long consolidation. Our markets have given good shakeout on Friday, so lets see what tomorrow brings.

Happy Trading

Yup I am really back now on....I think my trading has improved a lot over last 45 days so decided to come back with no breaks going forwards.......Will realive the thread "daily-tryst-with-nifty" and also my studies with NR7 will continue under your guidence.....

Yup....lets wait for clearity in the market ( at present we can not take any risk; its a no trading zone for me)....

Thanks...

I think it would be better to start a new thread with overall analysis of all markets including global indices, metals, etc because all that affects us. :)

Well the range has shrunk considerably but I suppose in bullish markets that's usually the case?
