oh ho i wrote na that my patterns r not technicals rather i m interested in behavior of stock under certain conditions n then probability of such occurrence in future
according to my need its true n pure data as it tells when price hits new highs & shines n when a stock gets lost in dark if i eliminate the time when stock does not moves then how can i get clear picture of its movement on brighter days
like recently around 1 month before suddenly thomas cook rose 20% in a single day otherwise u know its movement in ordinary days
No Khushi, you are not understanding what Sumo was trying to say..
Stock A is now at Rs.10. The data record produced is (let's say)
Stock A, timexxxxxxxx, 10.00
And, there has been no transaction in this counter for the next 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes, it ticked to Rs.10.10. So, the next data record would be:
Stock A, timexxxxxxxx, 10.10
In between the first transaction and the second txn, there were 300 seconds,
but there were no ticks. No tick, no data.
Data is distributed only when there is a fresh tick. Not on the basis of an
uniform time unit like a second.
So, there is only tick data, no 1 sec data..
And one more important thing is - the tick data doesn't have separate values
like Open, High, Low and Close.. It's just a value at that point of the tick.
Ultimately, who is providing this tick data? ManshiRT only provides 1min
intra-day history data.. he is not providing tick data.
