Yeah...i understand that... I was just curious whether we might have to tweak the formula more or not.
Never mind.:)

Nifty Fut Closed at 4870.30, almost at days high carrying a premium of 19.00 points. A day that startled the bears and a day most traders got trapped again this time in shorts. Action paralysis was seen with the huge gap up, Only friends with BTST or long position smiled. This is the way market goes. Has happened before and will happen in future.

It is good to see Nifty at a reasonably good level and more so because the much expected 4500-4400 may take some time to be seen(if at all is to be seen)

Positional shorts never got chance to reverse at 4760 till 4775 and hope they did as suggested or at least reversed trade at 4780-90. Those carrying with a SL of 4690 are having a good time. I would have been more happy, if the volume was 20+ million. A low volume rise does not always establish the trend reversal.

Now positional should watch 4860-4880, the trend decider for the day. Below 4860 for 5 minutes will be enough to bring bears to action. Levels to watch in downside are 4836-4812-4794-4774. If Nifty Fut opens and sustains 4891-95, 4860 may not be seen tomorrow.

For further bullishness Nifty Fut has to sustain above 4903-11 levels from where it would try 4933-4953-4970-4997-5011 and 5050 should be a strong resistance for the week.

Trend decider levels for Tuesday 4860-4880

Long above 4890 SL 4870 for 4910-4932-4950-4968-4989-5011
Short below 4856 SL 4875 for 4840-4825-4808-4794-4778-4760

Please keep watch on an important level for Tuesday 4911 above this more shorts to be covered and below this shorts may be formed. In case of a dip may go long above 4808-20 SL below 4790. May short at high if and only if 4911+ is not seen or fails to clear 4900 effortlessly with SL above 4930.

Yeah .. right. Timing plays an important part too :D

In the following thread, columbus has given ema-strip-bolingerbands system, which seems interesting.

Dear friends, on saturday, kgsirasangi mailed me about this sytem
i had gone through the system n found system is a major breakthrough
this system is a big leap ahead that would might take as long as a month to reach upto that level.
Hats off to Author!!
But there are few differences:-
>>this sheet dont consider volumes of futures that are prevailing at a particular time
>>Dont consider buying or selling pressure
>> No importance is given to support n resistance level
>>Put call ratio not taken into account while cosidering trend
>>Incorporating price action of call or put is slight different way as usual
etc....
So i invite all traders here as this this sheet is much near to reality so why not start from this sheet n by day to day experience make it more profitable....
I am removing my excel sheet as it stands nowhere in front of it and at same time urge other traders to discontinue its usage n concentrate on this valuable work......
Thanks to Author n kgsirasangi
i don't think it's a good idea to remove your excel sheet even if Nishant's sheet is much better. one drawback of Nishant's sheet is that we don't understand the logic behind it; and its very difficult to follow a system for long unless you know the logic behind it. we would like to understand the logic behind the system. however that cannot be done as Nishant is not available to this forum to explain his logic. whereas you are available here in this forum to explain. we would like to learn from you your style of trading. moreover, you have yourself pointed out differences of your trading style with that of Nishant's and that it catches a trend rather late. so my advice is that let both the sheets co-exist.
