In the video, TD is seen stressing on comparing with close of 6th. Close of 7th/8th is not stressed and also in example shown in video 8th close is out of sync.

Close of 8 is not relevant in either 9vs6 setup and in perfection of a setup.
In 9vs6 its the lows of 6 and 9 that are compared.
For perfection in a buy setup low of 8 or 9 should be lower than low of both 6 and 7. Its only useful if you intend to trade setups as standalone as per Perl's perfection criteria.
This perfection is of no importance in countdown.
Last is intersection, which is a prerequisite for countdown: Earliest it can happen is at bar 8 of the setup. Intersection is overlap between 8or9or any further bar with a bar 3or more bars earlier upto bar 1.
So let me put it again, there are 3 things:
1.9vs6 setup-used as standalone trade setup
2.Perfection-used if setups are traded standalone (without cd)
3.Intersection-Mandatory to start countdown (liberal in indices)
Hope it clears.
