Hi all

I am really sorry to run like that without telling. But believe me I had so much pressing engagements that I could not post without doing injustice to all, half baked ideas would serve no purpose. Even today I would not be doing that as I have followed market very cursorily. But I understand all's well that ends well. Probably, its showing sign of moving into 10500 to 12000 loop but if 8th Aug passes off smoothly.

Thanks for showing so much concern reihnu, ahmed, srini(hope you have realigned your potfolio), amitt29 and always caring SAINT.:)

Sebi - 10.8.6 (for y'day 9.8.6 in cr.s):

Equity: buy: 1292.20 sell: 1041.80 net: +250.50

derivates: nifty: +597.11 stock.fut: +1.09

its shop till you drop time dada, derivates watch will show us the short term trend...

mahmeds2000: the news of fed pause was expected hence the pre-fed meet rally & after decision profit booking, also the have still kept door open for future hikes so their markets dint like that, now they want to start reduction in rates asap...so another excuse will be depression fears..

We have successfully delinked from all other markets (US/EURO/ASIA) & only some big factor may link us again, we are on are own & dow cow factor will only affect the 1st 10 minutes of trading, dont worry:cool:

yup they were definately selling & still are wait for the air to clear before making any plunges... gold is crashing so is oil & so are the FTSE, etc something's up even before we could smell trouble the FII's were selling... its a similar scenario to may... effects of gold will be felt in equities.. as long as its continues....

I want to share one point on Friday FII's were net sellers of 200Cr. and marekt was up on Friday. and today surpricingly they were net buyers. I think something wrong going on. So consider dip as buying opportunity. After major correction of october2005 and may2006 second day market recovered well.

Mahmeds, wait for the derivatives figures, dont jump ur guns.
Also dont be fooled if it shows net buy in futures, options is where they are playing the game.1 lot of index futures=3 lots of in the money puts.Only drawback being time factor but they are balancing it with equity purchases.
Regards.
Amit.
