Hey Rajputz, what happened to the Cipla option you bought for Nov expiry?
Hi alroyraj,

At that time my method of working with the options was different. I risked a total of 6000 rs in learning the options from a different account. At that time i started with purchasing two options calls or two option puts at same time. so one in profit and other in loss or both in profit. After that i made that 6000 to 14000 in 14 days, and as my exams were approaching, i handed over my account to a professional trader till 20th december on agreement of 100 percent return to me and above that all his.

So bottom line is that i don't remember clearly at that time what happened to cipla. I think it went at loss of approx 1000, which got covered in put of nifty. remember i said that one winner is the ultimate winner over my system.

But now days i have refined it a bit and returns are good till now, and working from my other account, as i have time (for now). Lets c how future unwinds.

As i have a job and not a 100% trader its hard for me to do day trading. its more comfy to hold for a week and ensure that there is no major loss and arnd 50% profit. i agree time value is there ... but near ATM options are always lucrative even when u hold for week specially in a nice bull run

i still havent ventured much in shorts and sells

Thanks for the input Savkar but target does not matter when we have option call with us and that too on buy side. There is time decay that is to be considered too. So when i buy an option call or put, my try is to exit when 80-100 percent profit is achieved, some times even a single buck too. So i said that risked 3500. If it had been a delivery, i could have kept it for worst case scenario also, but with options, i need to check the bounces or surge from the time i enter the call.

I have burnt my hands in start by buying options, and had this bitter lesson. So now i keep options trading light. Soon i will be starting selling the options, but still not prepared for it, as it has its own pros and cons too. So will start lighter.

No!! Don't go there, bro.!!! Mr. Prashant Patel (aka Munnabhai) is on the stakeout already there! I don't want you to get hurt in the crossfire.

Besides, he would be shooting empty, as Mr. SG might agree and come to Delhi!:)
Okay. Done deal then. Have got plenty to talk about and truck loads of patience to listen. Kind of coincidence but had one ticket booked to Dharmashala (I suppose you reside in HP) today's evening but had to cancel it because Dad is in town now a days...

incidentally..some of the most delightful people I have ever met is through virtual world (poems/prose & journalism communities)..so hope to see you soon Brother..:)

I traded TATA STEEL (1 lot @ 594 , 1lot @580) squared off today @ 610.
Reason I closed my long was 100+ Nifty run up.. I might get it lower tomorrow.
I think it should reach 640 by by monday-tuesday after that we can see..

I will let you know, bro, through PM.

And please don't ever come to Dharamshala. I lost my ex-German-Polish girlfriend, my first love, to f@#*!!! Dalai Lama! Can you believe she chose him over me??? Blind woman..:D

Dharamshala is one of the best tourist place i like goofy :). It is hardly 5 hours journey from my home. And u had a wrong theory for dharamshala :annoyed:.
You should go to dharamshala single. Hook up there and come back single. In Mcleodganj there are tons of german, polish, nepalis, chinese or japanese ready to be hooked over a beer .

Market Learning is a stage of Perpetual Beta

Mr. Rajput
This slogan of yours reminds of a late night TV series on Channel 4 in London, called, The Glory of the Geeks.

It was a sort of anthology of the people behind the computers and Internet as we know it. Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, the java programmer...you name it, all were interviewed in person.

Behind all their achievements, I couldn't help noticing their humbleness, their humility, in their awe inspiring talks. Which meant simply this: Life's teachings always come to us in Beta form - never fully assured, never fully tested, never fully developed.

Goodnight, brothers.
