I love trekking. When I came here I used to trek alone in the surrounding pine forests with nothing but a knapsack, some cheese and biscuits and swiss-knife. Alas, I can't do it anymore. Three years ago I was trekking through high-altitudes along with a group of wild boar hunters (I don't hunt myself). Unfortunately, I fell and hurt my back. Doctors forbade me to climb. But I am getting fitter now. Hope I will be able to fulfill my dream to spend 6 months with the nomadic shephards (called gaddi), who take their sheep and goats to high Himalayan meadows to graze from May - October.
Perhaps National Geographic will publish my non-commisioned journal and pics!
