If i know TCS is moving 1100-1104 ...then at a sudden dip to 1099 i enter ....and immediately put my sell order for 1101 .... do this with a lot size comfortable to you and your ledger balance.
Dear hills_5000

But getting in and out with a gap of one or two Rs.. will get adjusted to brokerage itself.. Am i correct?

sometime back.. i very well remember that i did pure scalping with the help of mt4 platform with all perfect indicators..for three days.. in the stock SBIN..nearly 95% of success i got in it.. For three consecutive days i ended in profit.. no price action strategy which SG bro discusses now was applied.. its all my strategy..
But when i got the digital contract notes sent by my broker.. it was shocking to me.. that the brokerage was higher than the profit..( I am charged with 2 paise for intraday and 2% for delivery)

So my views are: Be it SG bro's PA or any other strategy that works one with... its better to do scalping when brokerage is less, especially when one is dealing with high value scrips... I hope i am correct. If not i request you to correct me..

thanks and regards

Yesterday was a very good day to trade price action with swings on both sides. I had tried to explain SG's method as learnt by me a few posts back . If you read that it should help.

Nimbleness... Know the lot size ... catch the price action ... if the movement is small / there is a sudden dip for no reason attributable to the stock .... at this time you enter quick ...and immediately punch in the sell order .

If i know TCS is moving 1100-1104 ...then at a sudden dip to 1099 i enter ....and immediately put my sell order for 1101 .... do this with a lot size comfortable to you and your ledger balance.

Yet I am not clear on PA...
If we start getting narrow range then price can move on either side. How to decide which direction it will take? let us take one example. we observe following prices in two minutes.
Buy Bid Sell bid
600 602
600.5 601.7
600.75 601.30
600.9 601.20
600.95 601.00
Now we are in narrow range of 5paisa. Should we take long or short position?

Also how to correlate it with ATP? e.g. ATP is 1000 & you are observing narrow range getting generated at 998-999 then should we consider down move as narrow range is below ATP?

Hi S-V,

You misunderstood what Hills_5000 was trying to say....

It has to do with a particular day which is a Narrow Range... but high on volatility....

If you go through one of the first post of yesterday when the market started... it was mentioned....that market will be volatile...and a day.. where one could have multiple entries with Small Profits...

Coming to Bokerage charges... if you are really generous you should not be paying more than 0.02% charged only one side for Intraday F&O and Equity

0.15% for Delivery in Equities...

Rahul,

Ek kaam karto mee majha drill machine gheyun yeto....

Narrow spread with lower bid & lower ask... would mean going short...but that is not the whole story.... it would depend where in reference it is at that point to the days range.....and that again...is not the whole story....:)

What rest of the scrips on my watch list are doing at that point of time...

You are mistaken again...that is still not the whole story...:)

You have to also watch the Index what it is doing...at that point of time...

Sorry ...but the story is still not over... above for you should be sufficient for now.... while showering me with all the expletives under your breath.... and not... having to borrow a few extra pair of eyes to keep track...of all the abovementioned....
