Hi I did this mistake I am new to share market. yesterday I did intraday trading and by mistake i sold 65 shares of 'XYZ' in advance without buying that share. Today in my trader terminal it shows Rs. 10080 as undelivered amount.

Can anyone explain me how to resolve this problem?
Try to buy the same quantity today.

Hi bunny,
In your rply to "Srtrader" you've adviced him to buy the same qunatity of stock which was short selled before one day.But I've heard and read many times that the short sell should be covered on same day by trader other wise broker will cover them at closing time of same day.
what is the fact?
Please throw some light on it.
Thanks.

The broker will not cover it for the trader, unless he has chosen the intraday trade, if such an option is available. If not the broker will have to get the shares from auction at an higher price and penalty. So to deliver the shorted shares, he has to buy and get delivery before auction starts.

hi,
sometimes we hear that a particular stock is an "operator driven".
what is that?
who is the operator
and how to identify that the stock we r interested in, is not an operator driven.
please throw some light on this.
thanks.
