yes ..if close above this level on monthly basis then only .................check only last trading day of month.

I am in the markets since past 4 and a 1/2 year. Full time. Have seen may ups and downs in the market. The post here is good. But its not a strategy. Its just like an observation. A really good one. Strategy is something using which one can make money, and consistently. To make sure we should put all the data into a sheet and do real trade setups, with all the rollovers, brokerages and of course stops.

summit ji ... how can u say one cant not make money by using this ... my dear friend ... just watch 2008 ... jan high was 6357 .... made low 2252 in same year ... many caught at high level and lost everything .. but who aware about this strategy ... stayed in cash and got very low level for buying ... 2nd watch 2009 again .. ppl were scared to buy even at 3300-3400 level .. strategy gave clear cut buy and stocks get 4-5 baggers after that ... m not saying i m big analyst .. but no one can give this kinda bold and clear cut statement about stock market .. even no one in entire world .

If we close below JAN.LOW for any month means we are in SHORT ,If yes what will be SL for SHORT?

Now JAN.2011* HIGH is 6181.05 & LOW is 5416.65, so now onwards if nifty close below 5416.65 in FEB.end so what will be SL for SHORTS .

Ouch.. don't remind me brother. I had purchased 100 Voltas @35.5 and sold @44. I thought I was very smart.. then the stock went on to touch 250. Same with redington. I had purchased @ 88 and sold at 140.. then it went on to touch 450 !!

you cant take short call now because stop is so far .... but now you can use 200 ma as stoploss for short trade .
