Point and figure chart

I have heard about indicators on P&F chart from David Linton / Jermey who are the people associated with updata.. So I will certainly listen to them on this topic.

Certianly, it is not as simple as indicators on bar/ candle chart.. So certianly we need to be careful about it.

Unfortunately I am not educated enough to talk about that topic.
Can contribute to P&F related discussion as and when it comes up.

I too have not used updata. That is why I warned about thinking that indicators in PnF chart is just like having the same indicators in bar chart or candlestick chart.

Something has gone wrong with the data in respect of the Nifty PnF chart posted by you.

Chart itself is not correct. Column of 'O' should be below the top of column of 'X' and not otherwise. Further column of X and O should be adjecent to one another. More curiously when did Nifty reach 7000 and trade above it? Your chart shows Nifty value above 7000.

Problem is either with the data or with the software. Check both.

Hi RSI,
I have attached spot nifty PnF chart from Bull's eye broker.
As you can see, though the market has lost almost 260 points today,
There is no red " O " symbol in this chart. This is from Eod data.

Can you explain why it is so?

Box size - 50 points, Reversal - 3 boxes.

Are you using cracked software? If that is the case, then there is some issue with your software. My copy is legal one and purchased by me. My chart showing reversal. See the chart attached herebelow. Chart updated and includes the data of 06-July-2009

My chart is clearly visible. May be some temporary issues with imageshack. I have a feeling that there is some problem with your software. Chart is not displyed propoerly. See my chart. Columns of X and O's are not displyed properly in your chart. See my chart and compare with your chart
