Dear Friends,

For Nifty Future traders who would like to trade as per trend check strategy posted in 1st post of the thread, Nifty levels for tomorrow are as under:

Resistance at 6350
Support at 6270

If you go short 1 lot then, buy 1 lot at money or near money call and if you go long 1 lot then, buy 1 lot at money or near money put to hedge. Reco. to trade as per trend check strategy posted in 1st post of this thread.

Regards

dear ghosh sir

really appreciate your reply but you can understand it a big thread , if you can give me the thread number
thanks anyway
All the threads are long threads here :lol: .. what you can do is, in "thread tools", search the thread for posts by a particular user.. That's cut down the number of posts you have to read. Of course, you will miss the discussion on those posts, but still.. 'twill be useful.. happy reading.

Edit : use "search this thread" / advanced search / find posts by user option.

last week
open ---6092
high ----6338
low -----6084
close ---6312

P = (6338+6084+6312)/3 = 6244

Resistance = 2*P-L = 6405
Support = 2*p - H = 6151

fryday
H = 6338
L = 6303
C = 6312

p = (6338+6303+6312)/3 = 6317
R1 = 6331
S1 = 6296
doesn't match :eek:

dear ghosh sir
you saying ,, R1~S1<300 is most volatile and nifty is likely to move sideways , but i use bollinger band for reading volatility , i have seen when R1~S1 is bigger, BB spans (volatile)

if you plz explain
thanks

How about selling Call 6500 30th Dec 2010 Expiry @ 106 on Monday? What do people think of this trade? It seems to me that market will go down in the next 1-1.5 months possibly 10%. So, this trade looks quite risk free. What do people think?

If you are sure, why you wanna limit your profit by writing call. Better buy put, no need to bother about time value when you are speculating that market will be down by 10%.
