Hi ST and AW10 ,

i today brought 2 lots of INFOSYS-1620-CALL-MAY for a premium of 32.50....
Whats ur opinion???hold it till friday or shall i exit if stoploss of rs.25 triggers???

I think its better to make an exit. As this counter looks weak. I think your decision to buy the call was not okay!

I have an open position as of today in 4500 call option bought at 71.. should i wait till this weekend or look forward to close it tomorrow?? please advice..

Which series ?? I will advise an exit from all long positions (Calls bought) in Nifty May series. Because I will not reco. to hold any long options bought from May series after 20th of the month, because of time decay.

Dear drvaibhav/bobit79,

Please make an exit from all long positions from May series. Will reco. all to wait for a while before you take any position, after the recent current big move its better to wait for atleast a week or two before we again start trading.

Just wanted to figure out which is the good time to get out of option trading in a particular month. As we can see the Options premiums fade away bcoz of the time decay. I would appreciate if you could also let me know a good time to enter into next months options..

Well good time for in and out depends on market trend. Its advisable to exit from current months options by 20th of the month.

I think after 20th of month its better to write call/put of next month series, As i have seen that till expiry their is substantial decrease in premium till expiry of current month.

let me know ur views.
