Though difficult to answer, it seems Nov. series will expire around 2700 - 2750 levels.

Thanks for your promp reply and guidanace. I have done following trade on Friday and got handsome profit. Please guide I have done wrong or write.

Short Nifit 2600 Call @ 240 and bought Nifit future @ 2640, Covered Call @ 282 and Nifty @ 2729 2 lot each. Loss in Call 8600 and gain in Nifty 17800 total gain 9300 excluding brokarage. Please guide is it ok for hedging or not.

Whatever you did was okay, so far you are following a definite strategy.

Will reco. following strategy as its more save and requires lesser margin.

Go long or short on Nifty as per trend check strategy posted in 1st post of this thread and buy at money put if long and buy a at money call if short. This will put lesser pressure on margin and lesser risky too!

Hi Ghoshji , I observed today that nov ce 2600 moved from low of 90 to high of 175 (94% return ) ,while dec ce 2600 moved from a low of 191 to 289 ( 51% return) , shouldnt this be otherway around in terms of return ?

Dear ravi....there was a trading range of 100 points today...so from the low of the day....nifty coverd almost 100 points by 2.30....so therefore the variations in the price of the calls...thats nothin new sir...

Today nifty has shown some strength at upper levels and it seems to continue tomorrow, those of you who are long w/o hedge suggest an exit tomorrow itself.
Nifty is overall bearish so trade carefully on long side.

1 lot 2400 pe @ 102.

As am hedged should i exit my ce 2moro if we rise till 2850 as i will then breakeven and would hold the pe as it will be free then or should i wait for few more days.

Today it will be uptrend. If you want to exit then, exit from both call and put writes. It seems tomorrow this rally will fizzle out so not to worry much if you do not exit today!

I am following this thread for long and thanks to Ghoshji from the bottom of my heart for showing me a way to trade options for profits. Also thanks to all other members who contributed with their priceless comments and questions thus enriching this thread. Due to the very vibrant discussion which answered all my questions, I never needed to post anything.
But now something very dangerous is happening and I think that I should warn Ghoshji and all of you about the same. A few days back an email arrived at my mailbox about some workshop at Chennai. I did not read it properly at the time as I was too busy with my options trades. Now that I read it, I see that this guy is advertising to teach a method where options can be traded intraday and with over 80 percent success. I think he is stealing our Ghoshji's method and charging people for that too. Any of our Chennai brothers should check this out if possible. Thanks for your concern.
Its okay to teach others but charging is not okay if they are teaching them my system. My system is free to all. Somebody from Chennai could check this out whether its my strategy or else.
