i read somwhere,.. in bear market index goes down on monday and it goes up on friday( to cover shorts), and in bull market index goes up on monday ( theory is that general public actively participate after lot of readings and watching about bull market, n thats why during bull market,big players use mondays to offload there holding on mondays)and goes down on friday ( profit booking ) ... but it didnt apply exactly in our market though hahah indian market is a special market
