even i tried options few months back n lost all my trading capital..... because of improper money management...
was back with small capital...trying to increase it slwly....with proper money management...
this time i am more concentrated on consistent small/medium returns....
Options as per my knowledge n experience : r wealth destroyers...
Shorting options can be a choice to look... but margin is reqd. and contains unlimited risk(theoritically)

Money Management:
EveryOne will be having their own way of managing their hard earned money:
My Way:
Capital protection is first priority ==> reducing losses ==> tighter stop losses
Small Profits consistently
No Daily profit targets ==> It makes me to take wild decisions
I prefer weekly profit targets ==> Will increase the limits constantly
Q)Diff b/w Intraday n positional:
I am able to have sound sleep after doing positional.... no need to worry about 2min/5min/15min timeframe signals ...
Q) Also did you do the mistake of going long in the weeks before expiry...?
I used to select options that are cheap (far OTM calls)
I used to buy on others tips without looking at charts.
Options have a lot of impact because of time factor...one should understand it.... time eats the option prices....
I have done all the mistakes due to my ignorance.....
Best thing is i learnt from my mistakes....and i know what those mistakes r now.....
All d above things are common part of a traders life...every one has to pass all those levels....

It was my opinion only sir, or atleast i will change my sentence to stock options r wealth destroyers... (atleast 4 me)
I got huge profits and very very huge losses in options...which made me to settle with zero balance at certain period....
I love my girl friend(options) but I am afraid of touching her.
