i made a mess of it yesterday, didnt follow the system many a time due to initial loss made which was around 3000 (again following prejudice and not the system) and went into revenge mode to recover losses and then at the last leg followed the system for two trade for entry, but then exitted early before system signal as I was shaken by the earlier viscious whipsaws, finally ending the day as per contract note as follows

gross loss in 34 lots 835 + cost 1066.1 = net loss 1901.1

trading is becoming more like psycho-analysis to find the loopholes in ones own mind rather than analyzing the system with which we are trading. it seems to me the system is always
right but for some reason on some days, some trigger within the mind makes us lose control of discipline as well as disbelieve what we see on the chart. And then after trading finding out the true cause of failure requires a lot of self analysis. Hope I dont start growing ant dunes covering me.

Hi boarders,

Its a small loss compared to your profits...
IMO Losing days makes us more disciplined in trading approach...
Continuous successful days makes us overconfident and it leads to careless trading...
Keep going.... You are already a super trader...

Best wishes...
Veera.

exactly you are spot on... overconfident and careless...is what happened to me
