Verticle rise, steep fall and again rising............some Algo selling must have hit the market...or some wrong punching of huge order.....

Yea, now market is in sideways move. But my friend: How do you personally trade such events? Even if you are hedged, specially when done the hedge a short time ago, so the range is not fully protected, how would you handle your stop loss strategies under such conditions? No pickle question :lol::rofl:

Even if you are hedged, specially when done the hedge a short time ago, so the range is not fully protected, how would you handle your stop loss strategies under such conditions? I am a scalper. I would place a Buy Stop order for Call or Put option and get out with 1-2 rupee profit on it (the trading cost is Rs. 0.40) and my initial sell order would be a Sell stop order Rs. 1 below the purchase price. I would trade nifty options priced in Rs. 50-65 range. Maybe I would repeat it multiple times. I would retire after 2 negative trades.

If the index proves to be too volatile, I would look at forex. Even I can't understand those moves as well, I would sit out.

Thanks for that view. Wondering about how others would do it, as the situation is really a ****** up one and to take the risk to be in it the full move down and up when not can be sure that any of your hedges are filled is absolute heavy and even devastating if it happens.
