Intraday Trading Using Gann Calculator

my last trade yesterday snatched all my profits..gann jus dumped me..this s what happend yesterday..v entered short 6181 at 11.29 a.m..1st trgt was 6162..achieved at 12.20 p.m..v bkd half..trailins stop is cost to cost..it had free fall..touched 6112..now the stoploss is lowered to 6142.90..triggered and bkd full at 6142.90..avg profit of 29 points..now comes the villain of all trades..nifty future has loww of 6113..v put this n gann got sell below 6103.65..entered short at 2.30 pm,,,stoploss is 6123.25..stoposs triggerd in 15mins..market jus took support at 6096..loss of 20+brokerage..28 points..eod.. i got like this after deducting brokerage..3 trades..(3+20-28)=-5 points..

Yestrday once the bloodbath started below Gann sort lvl of 6181 I thnk no logic would hv explained further move leave alone Gann. Anyway after covering 1st half @ 6159 covered full at 6140 i.e. below next Gann trgt of 6146. After tht just sat & watched d massacre. But Gann was right in anticipating the 6181 level, aftr which the freefall actually started. Now we definitely need to think out some little more elaborated plan to make use of this wonderfull aid.

Monday we'll start afresh, till then have a nice weeknd.

MN 1st bar high 6100, low 6085. Gann lvls Buy @ 6103, sell @ 6084

hi bhaskar,
You are taking the high bar and the low bar of 9:30 am as it is 6100 high and 6065 low ,but at 9:30 am the ltp is 6075.30. as per gan
Buy at / above: 6084 Targets: 6100.46 - 6120 - 6139.56 - 6159.16
Stoploss : 6064.51
Sell at / below: 6064.51 Targets: 6048.08 - 6028.65 - 6009.25 - 5989.88
Stoploss : 6084
i got these values .

You are taking the high bar and the low bar of 9:30 am as it is 6100 high and 6065 low ,but at 9:30 am the ltp is 6075.30. as per gan
Buy at / above: 6084 Targets: 6100.46 - 6120 - 6139.56 - 6159.16
Stoploss : 6064.51
Sell at / below: 6064.51 Targets: 6048.08 - 6028.65 - 6009.25 - 5989.88
Stoploss : 6084
i got these values .

my strategy is bit diferent..i put only highs and lows in gann box.not ltp/wap/atp..it doesn make any sense..then when i give high in gann i only look for buy above not the sell below..same way if i give low i look only for sell below..not buy above..tradinbg the mrket btwn highs and lows ul b very bumpy..now for today high of 9.15 is 6100 na low is 6181..so buy above 6103.65 and sell below 6064.65..luckily sell call did nit trigger as it made low of 6064..i have bought now above 6104..stop is 6084..trgt is 6123

xctly..our sell cl failed to trigger by 65 pise..now v r long above 6103..

Hi ,i think iam lucky ,for the past 5 days iam entering the values iam getting in ltp of 9:30 ,if i get the first target i booked and the second lot i keep as tsl .like that today igot the value of 9:30 am as 6075 and i got the first target and the second as tsl 6099 both triggered me in 9:45 am .Now at 9:50 the ltp was 6105 ,as per gann i got
Buy at / above: 6123.06 Targets: 6139.56 - 6159.16 - 6178.79 - 6198.46
Stoploss : 6103.51
Sell at / below: 6103.51 Targets: 6087.04 - 6067.54 - 6048.08 - 6028.65
Stoploss : 6123.06

sold at 6104 and covered the first lot at 6087 and remaining i put tsl as 6090.

now tsl as triggerd at 6090. now iam waiting for 10:30 am ltp.For the last 5 days i am doing it ,i dont know whether it is correct or not ,but luckly iam able to get the fisrt target quickly ,but unfortunatlely all my tsl are also triggering quikly.

u download the gann stuff by our member praveen p;ious..i have given the link in my eaqrlier post..jus go few pages back here..u ul get the automatic values..dont have repeatedly put in gann calc..u ul get a set of numbers such as..6084-6103-6123-6142..by lookin at these num,bers u can decide whetehr 2 go long or short..
