Dont think its necessary. You only need to have interest in what you are doing. I myself am from commerce stream and even after studying a 50page chapter on Share market as one of my subjects last year , it hardly helped me anything to know unless u wanna know what a Bull/Bear is :p Most of the practical information needed to know , am googling or asking out the members here.
