how to add nifty future or mini nifty as script

hi guys i have tried many combination to add nifty or mini nifty to add as a script but unable to do so. can any one help me to solve this problem.

What trading software are u using if you are using Indiabulls PIB then use Shift+Insert and chose mini nifty and then go to market watch and save market watch

I am using motilal oswal browser service.

hi nishant,

From what i know off..Motilal Oswal server has two products for web Launch Easy and Launch Spectrum.

1)Step for Easy product.

• Select segment as FONSE and then click on Search Symbol Both this options are situated on left hand top corner of easy trading screen
  
• Enter word mini in the window which pops up and press find button
  
• Small box appears on left hand side with scrip code as MINIFTY. Click on this word MINIFTY.
  
• It take you to new screen wherein you need to select Inst Type which is FUTIDX and expiry date of either 1, 2 or 3 month and press ok.
  
• This scrip MINIFTY will appear now in search symbol box then press Refresh button to get the current rates.

2)Step for Spectrum product.

• Right click on your Market watch and select Insert Securities/Contract
  
• Select NSE as your segment, then Futures radio button and finally Indices since nifty and minifty are index and not stock
  
• Enter word mini in the ticker column and then select expiry date of either 1, 2 or 3 month and press button Find Code
  
• This will take you take index like nifty, minifty etc etc
  
• Select the one needed and press ok. This will add the scrip to your market watch.

its not working nor for nifty and also not for mini nifty

I had a similar problem and some one recommended Motilal Oswals customer service no - 022 67490600/ 39982515 and thankfully it worked. Call them up and im guessing ur problm will get solved too.
