Get bhav copy not working since 4 th march

download daily snapshot from abv link in drop down menu ( indices csv file) and delete unnecessary column and unnecessary indices(row).
and also edit the ticker name as eg nifty 50 to NSENIFTY(for getbhavcopy cash database).

as i keep only 6 indice including vix.
to import in amibroker i just change the date format as dmy.
bhavcopy is downloading ok with getbhavcopy.

but customising and editing indices data take a bit time in excel ,dont know any shortcut. may be any macro wud help

Who are facing problem to get indices data please paste following scrips to in datadownloader Nse Indeces folder and save as it is. It will work nicely.

Updating thread with latest developments for member benefit

GBC ver 2.1.6a had been released on 13 Dec 15 (NSE Indices issue sorted)

GBC ver 2.1.7a has been released on 24 Dec 15 (BSE Indices issue too sorted)

NSE EOD Downloader ver 2.0 had been released on 20 Dec 15 (NSE Indices issue sorted)

The ABCD Downloader by josh1 in this forum itself had been proactively updated and was the first to be released

With all these tools being available for free (kudos to developers' generosity) the members are actually spoilt for choice, hence its somewhat puzzling that people are still looking for workarounds

Can anybody confirm whether GBC working for amibroker 6.0?

I downloaded and did all steps exactly. but after import , data not shown in amibroker. PLease help!!!

Friends I downloaded BSE eod data through GET BHAVCOPY but metastock downloader is not accepting the same and giving error message "ticker symbol is not present". Any help in this regard is most welcome.
