dear aaplana,

It is possible to get all historical NSE EOD data (for stocks) in "microsoft excell coma separated data file". However, is it possible to get them in PR.zip format? Daily EOD data can be obtained in PR.zip format? Further, how to get historical NSE EOD Indices data in PR.zip format? I tried a lot but not could not download the NSE EOD Indices historical data from the site.

Can I directly import Historical EOD Data in "microsoft excell coma separated data file" into Fibotrader?

Shall be grateful if you can throw some light on it.

Regards,

Nick

Dear Nick,

Historical data can only be found in comma sepatared file ( called .csv file),
You can all data from http://www.nse-india.com/archives/archives.htm just enter the date and u will get EOD in .csv format.

For indices go to http://www.nse-india.com/content/indices/ind_histvalues.htm .

Historical EOD data does not come in PR.ZIP format , you can only get it for current date.

Due to upper circuit in the market , trading could be done in all scrips, so just download the file from NSE website and upload in your Fibotrader.Charts for such scrips would as it was on last trading day before 18.05.09
